What We Do

We imagine a world where everyone has access to the healthiest pregnancy and delivery experience possible. We are bringing this vision to Colorado by partnering with perinatal healthcare providers, state agencies, insurers, provider groups and community advocates. Together, we aim to improve care for mothers and babies while preventing unnecessary maternal and infant deaths and injuries.

We serve as trusted partners to healthcare teams, extending their capabilities and supporting their work through evidence-based quality improvement initiatives. Thanks to these efforts, our programs now support three-quarters of all births across Colorado.

We understand that this takes connection to prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum and infant care as well as sound, non-partisan policy and partnering with the mothers and families that are most impacted by disparate outcomes. The CPCQC team:

  • Leads with Data: Translates data into recommended actions to improve perinatal outcomes in Colorado throughout pregnancy and the first year postpartum
  • Strengthens Networks: Deepens relationships between healthcare providers and community organizations to support a more unified perinatal care infrastructure.
