Formerly known as CO AIM: SUD, this initiative focuses on improving care for pregnant and birthing people impacted by substance use through universal screening, intervention, and referral to treatment during hospital birth admission. This initiative features two elective components to enhance hospital care for this vulnerable population:
- The MOMs+ elective supports hospitals to improve withdrawal management and access to substance use treatment through tailored technical assistance.
- The CHoSEN Integration elective supports hospitals in improving the coordination of care for substance-exposed families across maternal and infant care teams.
