For Healthcare Teams and Providers

If you are a healthcare provider navigating an obstetric or postpartum emergency, this section is for you:

  • Quickly access evidence-based algorithms for managing obstetric complications
  • Find step-by-step guidance for conditions you may not encounter frequently
  • Remember: patients within the first year postpartum are at an increased risk for medical complications, mental health concerns, and substance use issues.

For Patients and Familes

The Quick Care Card is a safety tool for pregnancy and the first year after birth. It helps you access the right care quickly and supports healthcare teams in recognizing when pregnancy or a recent birth may be an important factor in your health.

Pregnancy-related risks don’t end at delivery. Physical and emotional changes and complications, including mental health and substance use, can continue for up to a year postpartum and beyond.

This website connects you to trusted information and resources, including education and support for postpartum mental health and substance use care.
