Dr. McClelland is a general OB/GYN at Denver Health, where he serves multiple roles, including
as Associate Chair of Outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been involved with
CPCQC since early 2022, as a member of the Board of Directors and as a co-chair of the
steering committee for the SOAR project. A native New Yorker, Dr. McClelland attended Yale
University for undergrad, received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, and
completed his OB/GYN residency at NYU School of Medicine. He moved to Colorado with his
family in 2021 and now solidly does all the things Coloradans do, while clinging to his sense of
superiority of New York bagels and pizza. Occasionally, he appears at local open mics to turn
his Classical violin background towards folk music. His writing has been published in The New
York Times, The Atlantic, Slate, and The Messenger.
