Our Approach
Continuous Quality Improvement
By coming together in person to share data and experiences in a collaborative environment, we foster constant learning and improvement. In addition to statewide collaboration, we also partner with other Perinatal Quality Collaboratives across the country so that we can be “the best at getting better.”
Empowered To Make A Difference
In September of 2017, Colorado became one of the thirteen states that the CDC is currently providing support for. They empower organizations just like ours to improve the quality of perinatal care in their states, including efforts to:
- Reduce severe pregnancy complications associated with high blood pressure and hemorrhage.
- Improve identification of and care for infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome.
- Reduce preterm births.
- Reduce racial/ethnic and geographic disparities.
- Reduce cesarean births among low-risk pregnant women.
