OUR IMPACT
CPCQC works in all four corners of Colorado, propelling change at scale to meaningfully improve outcomes for moms and babies wherever they may live.

54,834
babies annually are delivered in hospitals participating in CPCQC initiatives!* CPCQC programs have an opportunity to impact each and every one of these births, with additional hospitals coming on board soon.

91%
of all Colorado births are delivered in hospitals participating in CPCQC programs, with more coming soon!**

42
out of Colorado’s 50 birthing hospitals, or 84% of Colorado birthing hospitals, participate in SOAR or Turning the Tide as of May 2025! Additional hospitals will participate in a third maternal QI initiative, SPARK, launching in July 2025.

62%
of Colorado births take place in a hospital engaged in our Turning the Tide initiative. That means that approximately 37,679 mothers annually could receive comprehensive and compassionate screening and care for substance use disorder or mental health conditions, the leading causes of maternal mortality in Colorado. This work happens in 25 hospitals which make up 50% of Colorado’s total birthing hospitals!

58%
of all Colorado births, or approximately 34,832 births annually, occur in hospitals participating in SOAR, our primary Cesarean reduction program! This work is occurring in 30 hospitals which make up 60% of Colorado’s birthing hospitals!

2,103
families were connected to community-based perinatal navigation services in 6 counties on the rural Western Slope of Colorado through our IMPACT BH program from July 2023-March 2025.
**based upon Colorado birthing hospital participation as of May 2025, with additional hospitals onboarded to CPCQC initiatives throughout 2025 and beyond!
