Danielle Courtney, BSN, RN, RNC-MNN
Danielle “Dani” Courtney is a Registered Nurse with specialty certification in Maternal Newborn Nursing. Her career has been shaped by two areas she cares deeply about: education and maternal and neonatal health. Dani is a strong advocate for improving perinatal health and believes deeply in continued learning and growth, both for individual healthcare professionals and for the systems in which they provide care.
At CPCQC, these passions come together through Dani’s work in clinical simulation and education. Much of her work centers around CORE (Colorado Obstetric Readiness in Emergency Care), a statewide initiative focused on strengthening obstetric emergency readiness among rural emergency departments and first responders. She also oversees simulation education focused on respectful maternal care and obstetric patient safety. As a Colorado native, Dani feels especially connected to work that improves maternal health and supports healthcare teams and communities throughout her home state.
Dani earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing. In 2026, she received the college’s Distinguished Alumni Award for Humanitarian & Community Impact.
Outside of work, Dani can usually be found enjoying a good latte, taking a spicy Pilates class, or spending time with her husband and their German Shepherd, Duke.
