Jenna McKoy

The care of birthing families is Jenna’s deep passion and joy. Jenna brings eight years of clinical experience as a bedside labor and delivery nurse, charge nurse, and nurse leader in the hospital setting. She has contributed to multiple hospital-level quality improvement initiatives, and she enjoys mentoring new nurses and advocating for systems change to promote patient-centered care. Jenna combines her expertise in perinatal nursing with her passion for education and mentoring to inspire hospital teams to meet their quality improvement goals.

Jenna holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Oklahoma Christian University. Through her studies, Jenna has researched health disparities, perinatal best practices, and the ways that traumatic birth experiences impact families, and she enjoys using her knowledge to translate research to practice.

When she isn’t working, she can be found hiking with her three kids, gardening, or baking something delicious.
