CPCQC is a partner with the Colorado Hospital Association and the March of Dimes Colorado/Wyoming Chapter to support the Safe Deliveries Colorado initiative, which aims to reduce preterm birth and low birthweight in Colorado. Fifteen hospitals across the state are actively participating in the initiative, along with obstetric providers. Participants have the opportunity to network with each other as well as learn about best practices from national and local leaders.
Two areas of special attention for the initiative are to:
standardize preterm labor assessment according to national recommendations and
increase the use of prenatal progesterone for eligible women.
