The purpose of the Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative is to promote and advance perinatal care in Colorado. We promote and advance perinatal care through the engagement of perinatal health care stakeholders in the design, implementation and evaluation of data-driven, evidence-based processess that enhance the health and well-being of all women and infants. The collaborative builds awareness, sustains consensus and support for the development and sustainability of a state-wide perinatal quality collaborative focused on quality improvement initiatives.
Currently, CPCQC has three quality initiatives underway: LOCATe or Levels of Care Assessment Tool/e version in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC], CASC or Colorado Antibiotic Stewardship Collaborative in collaboration with Vermont Oxford Network [VON], and SDC or Safe Deliveries Colorado in collaboration with Colorado Hospital Association [CHA].
